Fresno State Small Business University

The Fresno State Small Business University assists existing businesses to be competitive in a complex marketplace and helps new entrepreneurs realize their dream of business ownership.  The Fresno State Small Business University is an initiative administered by the Office of Community and Economic Development at Fresno State that began services in May of 2018. We go above and beyond to provide business resources and the necessary tools that entrepreneurs need to start and/or grow their small business.

The  Small Business University also connects Fresno State students and community partners to foster an excellent service network for the small businesses and entrepreneurs in the San Joaquin Valley.  With oversight from SJV RDC staff, Fresno State student interns are matched with new or seasoned small business owners to help identify small business strategies and provide technical assistance in a variety of topics.
